COUNTDOWN TO CLASSIC CHAMPIONSHIPS

The Alban Arena in St Albans will this weekend host the third qualifier of the year for the British Championships.

As an extra boost for everyone attending, Fitness First – who will be present at the event – have offered a free three-day pass for its gym in St Albans.

A spokeswoman for the company said: “Fitness First celebrate and support everyone from serious athletes to those just looking to move a bit more. Here at St Albans Fitness First, we provide an environment to encourage all kinds of active.

Sunday's contest features all the usual UKBFF classes.

Registration is at 9am and the competition is due to start at 12.30pm.

Any member wanting to compete can enter on the day.
